earthing and unearthing........

It has been a while since I last wrote......we have been busy here at Aileen Street....busy shifting the lay of the land....busy setting seeds and rooting trees.  The rains have nourished the black earth here and Scott and I have made many trips to American Sand and Soil, Berkeley Hort, and the Cactus Jungle......
We have gone through many many many packets of wild flowers and are excited about the Salvia, and the Lobelia Laxiflora, and the Manzanita that we have planted.

We prepared our selection and trove of pots and were excited to root the cacti and succulents that we chose at Cactus Jungle....what a magical world that is....filled with blooming green, some spikey, some tame and soft.....inspiring!

Our garden continues to provide......and we feast on chard, daikon, and beets. Yum.

There is magic in that Local Hero soil.....
